Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This page explains how lootboxly.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small file saved on your device when you visit a website. It allows, for example, your cart to be kept, your language to be remembered, or site traffic to be measured.

2. The Categories of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies (always active)

They are necessary for the store to function: keeping your cart, payment security, fraud prevention, remembering your privacy choices. They cannot be disabled. Examples provided by Shopify: cart, cart_sig, cart_ts, cart_ver, secure_customer_sig, localization, _tracking_consent, _shopify_essential.

Preference Cookies

They remember your choices (language, region, currency) to personalize your experience.

Statistics Cookies (with your consent)

They help us understand how the site is used (pages visited, where visitors come from) so we can improve it. Examples: _shopify_y, _shopify_s (Shopify analytics) and, where applicable, analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

Marketing and Advertising Cookies (with your consent)

They allow us to measure the effectiveness of our ads and show you relevant content on other sites or platforms (for example Instagram, Facebook or TikTok), where these tools are enabled on the store. They are only placed after you give your consent.

The lifespan of cookies ranges from the length of your visit (session cookies) to a maximum of about 13 months for persistent cookies.

3. Your Consent

In accordance with Quebec law and applicable Canadian laws, non-essential cookies are disabled by default. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse them. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy management link at the bottom of the page. Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent you from buying or using the site.

4. Managing Cookies From Your Browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Some essential features, such as the cart, may then stop working. We also respect your browser's privacy signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when they are enabled.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies come from third parties (Shopify, advertising platforms, analytics tools). These third parties have their own privacy policies, which we invite you to consult.
